Self-portrait vs Selfie
What is a selfie? a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and shared via social media. What is a self-portrait? a portrait of an artist produced or created by that artist. Is there a difference? If so, what? The difference between these two is that it is one is a painting and the other is from the phone and more casual basically. What style do you prefer? Why? I prefer Self-portraits because they are so much fun to paint and takes time to paint. Is one more valuable/important than the other? Why? I believe that self-portraits are more important because they been in our lives for over 400 years or more. What is the website's intention?
